Paul Albert Larrow Sr.
BRISTOL — Paul Albert Larrow Sr., 84, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at Birchwood Terrace Nursing Home in Burlington.
He was born Sept. 11, 1924, in Vergennes, the son of Howard and Inza (Roberts) Larrow.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Bristol. He farmed in New Haven for 64 years.
He is survived by two children, Nancy Godard and husband Paul Marcel of South Burlington and Paul A. Larrow Jr. and wife Ruth of Williston; a brother, Julius H. Larrow and wife Midge of Middlebury; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lenore, on Jan. 4, 2001.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, at St. Ambrose Church in Bristol. Interment will be in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. There will be no public calling hours.

Doris (Pierce) Conway
MONKTON — Doris (Pierce) Conway died Dec. 16, 2008, at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.
Born at home on July 29, 1919, in Starksboro, she was the daughter of the late Marble and Annetta Pierce. She lived in Starksboro until she met and married the love of her life, Charles E. Conway. They were married for 54 years until his death in 1997.
She was an active member of the Friend’s Church in Monkton for many years. She was involved with the Sunday school, vacation Bible school and many other aspects of the church. During the late 1980s she and her husband began attending Trinity Baptist Church in Williston. She worshiped there until the onset of her illness.
She is survived by her son, Charles J. Conway and his wife Sally (Lowd) of Addison; two grandchildren; a niece; and many other relatives.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; a sister, Marjory (Pierce) Rader; and a brother, Russell Pierce.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, at Trinity Baptist Church in Williston. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Huntington in the spring. Friends may call at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m.
