Dog days of winter

A COUPLE OF musher dogs wait patiently as their owner, Ed Blechner, gives a lesson in dog sledding to a large crowd assembled in the Marble Works during the town of Middlebury’s winter carnival activities Saturday afternoon. The carnival also featured a chili contest on downtown sidewalks. For more photos from the event, see the print edition of the Independent.
