MUHS raises $3K, two tons of food for HOPE

MIDDLEBURY UNION HIGH School Activities Director Sean Farrell, left, and Student Senate President Angela Brisson pass a $3,147 check to HOPE Executive Director Jeanne Montross Tuesday afternoon. The money was collected during a very successful “penny war” that was part of this year’s winter carnival at MUHS.
MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury Union High School students have battled in two competitions this winter in which everybody has come out a winner — particularly the community’s hungriest and most impoverished citizens.
