MORE THAN A half dozen area citizens were honored at the annual Addison County Chamber of Commerce meeting this past Thursday evening at the Vergennes Opera House. Andrea Solomon and David Clark were recognized as the chamber’s Buster Brush Citizens of the Year. Solomon was recognized as a tireless community volunteer and enthusiastic cheerleader of all things local, including being co-director of the Middlebury Maple Run (a half marathon held each spring), while Clark has served for years as the head of the Ilsley Library. Becky Dayton and the Vermont Book Shop were singled out as the chamber’s Business of the Year.
