ON ELECTION DAY the Lodge at Otter Creek organized a morning and afternoon shuttle bus to deliver residents into Middlebury for voting in the town gym. Jo Birnbaum and Jack Burbank talk on the return trip. Burbank, 93, said, “I haven’t missed one election yet” since voting for Wendell Willkie in 1940.
