Several hundred young adults achieved a big milestone this past Saturday morning as the three local high schools held commencement exercises and sent the classes of 2018 out into the world.

Above, five graduating seniors lead the Sweet Transition a cappela group in a performance at the Mount Abraham Union High School commencement; below, Otter Valley Union High School graduate Cody Young and Courtney Lee are happy to receive their diplomas; and, bottom, Middlebury Union High School seniors chant their class — 2018! — as they line up for the walk into Memorial Sports Center and their commencement exercise Saturday morning.
