MIDLEBURY — Middlebury police on Nov. 16 cited Traci S. Clark, 49, of New Haven for driving under the influence (third offense) and driving with a suspended license, after she allegedly struck another vehicle head-on on Washington Street Extension on that Monday.

Police said no one was injured in the crash. Authorities said they measured Clark’s blood-alcohol content at 0.227 percent; the legal limit for driving is 0.08.

In other action last week, Middlebury police:

•   Served a no-trespass order on Nov. 16 on a person who was not wanted at a Route 7 South property.

•   Assisted Vermont State Police at Porter Hospital with a man who had been struck in the head by a ricocheting bullet in Salisbury on Nov. 17.

•   Were informed of the theft of an iPhone 4 from Middlebury Union High School on Nov. 17.

•   Served a temporary restraining order on a man in the John Graham Court neighborhood on Nov. 17.

•   Responded to a report of a person pointing a broomstick at cars, as if it were a gun, at the intersection of Seminary Street and Springside Road on Nov. 18.

•   Helped an intoxicated woman return safely to her Middlebury home on Nov. 18.

•   Responded to the report of a man yelling at Green Mountain Power employees and possibly carrying a gun in the Route 7 South area on Nov. 19. Police said they were unable to locate the man.

•   Assisted Middlebury Regional EMS with a potentially suicidal woman in the North Pleasant Street area on Nov. 19.

•   Cited Ashleigh E. Hickey, 23, of Middlebury for violating the court-ordered conditions of her release, after investigating a report of a 2-year-old child in the care of a possibly intoxicated woman in the Fields Road area on Nov. 19.

•   Checked the welfare of a Halladay Road woman who was allegedly showing signs of wanting to harm herself on Nov. 19.

•   Assisted a man having car problems on North Pleasant Street on Nov. 19.

•   Responded to a noise complaint in the Washington Street area on Nov. 20.

•   Received a report of a loud “bang” noise near the Middlebury United Methodist Church on Seminary Street on Nov. 20.

•   Investigated a hit-and-run crash involving a car that had been parked off Exchange Street on Nov. 20.

•   Calmed an MUHS student who had allegedly been shouting and behaving in an aggressive manner on campus on Nov. 20.

•   Received a report from the Vermont Department for Children and Families about possible sexual activity between two local juveniles on Nov. 20. Police continue to investigate the matter.

•   Issued a juvenile court citation to an MUHS student who was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana at school on Nov. 20.

•   Assisted an elderly woman who had locked herself out of her Upper Plains Road home on Nov. 21.

•   Provided traffic control until Green Mountain Power officials arrived to take care of a fallen electrical wire on Upper Plains Road on Nov. 21.

•  Assisted a potentially suicidal woman who claimed she was going to jump in front of cars at the intersection of Buttolph Drive and Washington Street on Nov. 22. Police said the woman later agreed to be taken to Porter Hospital for counseling.

•   Helped a suicidal man on the Battell Bridge on Nov. 22 who later agreed to go to Porter Hospital for mental health services.

•   Returned a wallet found on Exchange Street to its owner on Nov. 22.

•   Conducted a consent search on a person who police were led to believe had been involved in a drug transaction in the Cross Street area on Nov. 22. Police said they found no drugs on the person.

•   Assisted Vermont Fish & Game wardens in their search for a local individual on Nov. 22.

•   Cited Thomas Demars, 24, of Weybridge for simple assault, following an incident involving another patron at Two Brothers Tavern on Main Street on Nov. 22.
