The Addison County legion baseball team defeated the visiting SD Ireland squad on Tuesday, rallying from a 5 run deficit to earn a decisive 16-6 victory. The AC team improved to 1-4 overall, 1-2 in the Northern Division. AC's bats came alive in the fourth inning, scoring five runs — one more than they had scored in any of their previous four games. They kept the momentum rolling into the fifth, sending twelve batters to the plate and scoring eight more runs. Addison Independent player of the year Tommy Nelson pitched well, but left the game in the third after being hit in the forearm by a line drive. David Burt and Devin Hayes pitched in relief.
