MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police cited Deven J. Corse-Terrier, 18, of Middlebury for petit larceny, after he allegedly stole some money from a relative at a Route 7 South residence on Jan. 8.
In other action last week, Middlebury police:
• Assisted with a tractor-trailer that was stuck atop a frozen snow bank on South Village Green on Jan. 5.
ADDISON COUNTY — In recent activity in Addison Superior Court Criminal Division (except where noted), the following took place:
Benjamin J. Adams, 32, of Salisbury pleaded guilty to Oct. 19 charges of violation of an abuse prevention order and driving with a suspended license, and was sentenced to 9-12 months, suspended, and was fined $147. The state’s attorney dismissed an Oct. 19 charge of first-degree unlawful restraint as part of a plea agreement.
BURLINGTON — If you have symptoms of flu and are at increased risk for complications (young children, people 65 and older, pregnant women and people with certain medical conditions such as asthma), contact your doctor or health care provider.
That advice comes from the Vermont Department of Health.
Flu symptoms include fever, headache, dry cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, and body aches. Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea can occur but are more common among children than adults.
