MONTPELIER — Gov. Phil Scott is seeking candidates from the Addison-Rutland legislative district to fill the Vermont House of Representatives seat being vacated by Rep. Alyson Eastman, I-Orwell.
Eastman, who won re-election to her second term unopposed last fall, was appointed by Gov. Scott to be deputy secretary of the Agency of Agriculture.
“I am looking for someone who, like Alyson, will be a dedicated public servant and representative for the people of Shoreham, Orwell, Benson and Whiting,” said Gov. Scott in a press release.
