n Program enlists dogs LEAD Dogs9119.jpg

MIDDLEBURY — Dale Tucker scooped up a tennis ball and sent it hurtling into the teeth of an unseasonably warm wind that was swirling around the new Middlebury dog park last Tuesday.

His beautiful young German shepherd, Abby, dutifully gave chase.

MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury officials will study the prospect of merging the local teen center with the municipal Parks & Recreation Department as a way of giving the youth friendly operation long-term financial and organizational stability.
