SBRAY artist picture with animal.jpg

MIDDLEBURY — When you see one of Susan Raber Bray’s sculptures on display at Edgewater Gallery, it instantly grabs your attention. The effortlessness of her forms paradoxes the meticulous technique used to create them. Her primitive animals and their rustic appearance act as a vessel for the viewer to connect with their own personal memories and emotions prompted by the pieces.

Susan has perfected her forms over years of working hard at her craft. Her successful career however, started from a unique introduction into the world of pottery.

SchoolHack1196 online.jpg

MIDDLEBURY — A little more than a year ago, the SchoolHack Solutions had just one official employee and it was beta testing its personalized learning software with three schools in Vermont.

Santa0300.jpg

Dear boys and girls (adults too),

I recently visited your town during its early Christmas celebration on Dec. 3 and had the privilege of meeting almost 100 children at the Middlebury Community House. It’s a terrific event I do every year, and I want to offer a big thanks to the Better Middlebury Partnership and the hardworking people who make “A very Merry Middlebury” possible. What a wonderful time I had hearing the hopes, dreams and wishes of the children who sat on my lap!
