Tiger boys' soccer top seed in D-1

MIDDLEBURY — On Monday morning it became official: The Middlebury Union High School boys’ soccer team made history this fall by earning the top seed in Division I for the first time in program history.

At 12-1, the Tigers earned a quality point rating in the Vermont Principals’ Association standings of 4.077 to edge out No. 2 Champlain Valley, which earned a quality point rating of 4.071 with a 12-1-1 record.
