MIDDLEBURY — Kelly Claire Olson died peacefully with her parents at her side on March 4, 2013, at 2:50 p.m. at the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, Vermont.
Kelly was born April 20th, 2006, in Randolph, Vermont, the daughter of Amy A. Roberts and Christopher W. Olson, and sister of loving and caring Isabel A. Olson and loving and caring Fairley B. Olson.
MIDDLEBURY — With her family at her side, Constance Leona Staats, 84, of Middlebury, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2013, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
Connie was born in New York City on Jan. 4, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Herbert and Leona Jackson. She earned her bachelor’s degree in children’s theater at Northwestern University in Evanston and her master’s of education at the University of Vermont.
HANCOCK — William T. “Bunk” Blair, 91, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at his home in Hancock.
He was born Dec. 14, 1921, the son of William and Flora (Hill) Blair.
He attended Hancock and Rochester schools and graduated from Rochester High School. Following his education he enlisted in and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He served aboard the U.S.S. Wisconsin and the U.S.S. William Pepperell.
MIDDLEBURY — Connie Staats, 84, of Middlebury passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, with family close by.

TROUTMAN, N.C. — Judith “Judy” Lucille LaDeau Watkins, 53, of Troutman died at her residence Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
Born Dec. 26, 1959, in Addison County, Vt., she was the daughter of the late Jean Oney LaDeau.
MIDDLEBURY — Helen S. Cawood, 86, of Middlebury died late Wednesday evening, Feb. 27, 2013, at Eastview Terrace in Middlebury.
Born on March 1, 1926, in Providence, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Helen (Lennox) Swan.
On Jan. 16, 1954, she married W. Gordon Cawood in Brooklyn, N.Y.
GOSHEN — Muriel Alice Fielder, 82, of Goshen died Dec. 6, 2012, in Sarasota, Fla.
She was born in Brandon on Sept. 12, 1930. She was the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Noble) Brown. She lived all her life in Goshen. She attended Goshen School and graduated from Brandon High School, class of 1948. In her earlier years she worked summers at Camp Thorpe in Goshen. She also cut pulpwood with her father and her brother Bud.
SALISBURY — Paul Heudorfer, 74, died at his home Sunday, March 3, 2013, after a period of failing health.
Born Jan. 1, 1939, in Tripoli, Libya, North Africa, he was the son of the late Paul and Emma (Heiniger) Heudorfer. He was raised by his stepfather, Anton Karl Heudorfer, following the death of his father in early childhood.
Paul was a graduate of Grover Cleveland High School, class of 1956, and Brooklyn Community College, where he studied electrical engineering. He was an electrical engineer employed by IBM of Essex Junction.
STARKSBORO — Bernard Lawrence Hurlburt, 88, of Starksboro died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.
He was born July 27, 1925, in Bristol, the son of Newton and Lorraine Wheelock Hurlburt.
His family says he enjoyed hunting, farming and sugaring.
