Downtown Traffic

Have you ever tried to drive through downtown on any given day? Why is it that it takes so long to get through? I know of one reason. At the junction of Main St and Merchants Row, nobody likes to take turns. Everyone is in a rush to get to their destination before someone else gets there and takes their spot. I honestly believe that there should be a 3 way stop at that junction. The town says no to a light being there because traffic will be backed up, but what about the traffic that backs up already? I believe a 3 way stop will enable better traffic flow, because then everyone will be allowed a turn. Plus it would be safer for pedestrians as well.  We don't need any more crosswalks, and we certainly don't need to lose parking spots either. (Like the ones they are taking away from the post office.) We need better traffic control.  What is the point of trying to make the town more "pretty" when you have backed up traffic everywhere? Come on people, lets make this a reality. Let's make the traffic flow better through town.

Not to be rude, but why are so many

Just wondering what other people have seen around here. Personally, I have seen many, many people in Middlebury act very rude.

It's very disappointing, actually. Some people walk around here (or live around here) with such a chip on their shoulder, it's crazy. Our neighbors are a prime example. They act better than everyone else, like they own the whole neighborhood. I wish I could name names, but I won't.

But here is a message for those who think they are better than others: Grow up and get a life. It's pathetic to see grown people act so childish.
