Staff Blog: Middlebury at 250 years

This year, the town of Middlebury and a number of other towns in the state mark the 250th anniversary of their chartering in 1761.

In Middlebury, this has meant throwing a series of commemorative events, including a birthday bash along with the Middlebury Spooktacular and a charter signing celebration at the Town Hall Theater on November 4.

To mark the charter signing celebration, Middlebury Community Television asked a whole lot of people for three words that describe their town of Middlebury. They tracked down notable town figures, townspeople, Middlebury College students, business owners and (surprise surprise!) our very own John Flowers!
