LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARITIME Museum schooner Lois McClure concluded a four-month journey to ports in Canada, on the Great Lakes, the Erie Canal, and Lake Champlain with a final stop in the Otter Creek Falls Basin of Vergennes on Oct. 12 and 14. Many visitors toured the ship, which was educating the public about the first phase of the War of 1812.
