LODGE AT OTTER Creek resident Mayneal Wayland checks in at the polls in Middlebury to vote in Tuesday’s election. Wayland, her voter registration paperwork in her hand, was surprised to find her name already on the voter list as she had just become a Vermont resident the day before.
