BRISTOL — Bristol police in the past week reported three cases in which they cited area residents for driving-related offenses.
On Oct. 31 at 11:42 p.m. police stopped a car driven by Bryon J. Carper, 23, of Bristol on West Street in Bristol. Police said Carper’s blood alcohol content tested more than three times the legal limit for driving and they cited him for driving under the influence. He is due to answer the charge in Addison Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Nov. 18.
Bristol police on Nov. 2 stopped a vehicle driven by Melodie A. Campbell, 41, of Bristol for a motor vehicle violation and cited her for driving with a suspended license. Police then sent an affidavit to the Addison County State’s Attorney’s office noting an Oct. 31 incident in which an officer witnessed Campbell allegedly driving a car after she stopped to ask an officer for directions.
On Nov. 3 at around 11:08 p.m. a police officer stopped a vehicle driven by Kimberly Rose Jimmo, 18, of Lincoln on Stoney Hill Road for an equipment violation. Police cited Jimmo for driving under the influence of alcohol. She is due to answer the charge in Addison Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Nov. 25.
