MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police cited Elizabeth R. Murphy, 41, of Middlebury for driving under the influence, second offense, and a criminal charge of driving with a suspended license, following an investigation in the Champlain Farms store parking lot on July 1.

Police said they measured Murphy’s blood alcohol level at 0.195 percent. The legal limit for driving is 0.08 percent.

In other action last week, Middlebury police:

• Served a no-trespass order on June 25 on a man who was not wanted at Vermont Country Soap on Exchange Street.

• Were informed that someone had vandalized a trailer parked at G. Stone Commercial Division on Foote Street on June 26.

• Cited Jazmine J. Jarvis, 22, of Winooski for driving with a suspended license, following an investigation on the Middlebury College campus on June 26.

• Assisted Vermont State Police by deploying some spike strips on College Street in response to reports of a suspect headed in that direction on June 27. The suspect ultimately took a different route and was apprehended by VSP.

• Assisted Hannaford Supermarket with an employee who was allegedly threatening other workers on June 27. Police said the worker has been fired and was issued a no-trespass order for the store property.

• Seized drug paraphernalia from a vehicle parked behind Ilsley Library on June 27.

• Responded to the scene of a one-vehicle accident on North Branch Road on June 28. Police said the truck veered off a soft shoulder of the road and went down an embankment. The driver sustained a bump to his head.

• Received a report about the alleged theft of some ducks from a Seminary Street Extension property on June 28.

• Were informed on June 28 that someone had fraudulently used a credit card to charge $271 in expenses at a local auto repair shop.

• Served a no-trespass order on June 28 on a man who was not wanted at G. Stone Motors.

• Recovered some drug paraphernalia from the porch of a North Pleasant Street residence on June 28.

• Heard from a Mary Johnson Children’s Center employee who alleged that her wallet had been stolen while she was at work on June 28.

• Warned a man who was in violation of the town’s open container law near the Otter Creek falls on June 28.

• Assisted Middlebury Volunteer Ambulance Association in assisting an ill East Middlebury resident on June 29. Police said the woman was taken to Porter Hospital.

• Seized drug paraphernalia from a Seymour Street Extension residence on June 29.

• Responded to reports of alleged drug activity in Frog Hollow and at the Blue Spruce Motel on Route 7 South on June 30.

• Responded to a family dispute in the South Village Green neighborhood on July 1.

• Cited Mark A. Collins, 24, of St. Albans for driving under the influence, following a stop on Route 7 South on July 1. Police said they measured Collins’ blood-alcohol level at 0.184 percent. Police added they also destroyed some drug paraphernalia found in the vehicle.

• Took a statement on July 1 from a woman purporting to be a Native American who said she had dreamt that her friend had been poisoned by his girlfriend.
