Werner retires after 37 years at helm of FFA

LONGTIME FFA ADVISORY and Patricia A. For 37 years Cheryl Werner taught students interested in agriculture at the Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center. She became a central part of FFA at the school and in Addison County.

Vergennes Partnership receives $1,000

WHILE SOCIAL DISTANCING, Vergennes Partnership treasurer Jen Russell is presented with two checks totaling $1,000 from agent-owner Scott Gaines. A $500 gift, awarded as part of Co-op’s Community Grants program was matched by Gaines Insurance and will be used for replacement and additional plantings in the downtown’s City Park, also known as the Vergennes Green. VERGENNES — The Vergennes Partnership has announced the receipt of a $1,000 grant for replacement and additional plantings on the Vergennes Green.
