VERGENNES — Friday, Feb. 28, has been declared “Joan Devine Day” by the Vergennes mayor in honor of the city’s long-serving clerk, who at the end of that workday will retire.

BRANDON — Many of the town meeting decisions that Brandon residents will make next week will be done at the ballot box on Tuesday, March 3, not at the in-person meeting the night before.
BRIDPORT — Bridport residents at their town meeting next Tuesday will be asked to bankroll a major bridge/culvert project and a new, one-ton truck for the highway department.
BRISTOL — Bristol will hold its annual town meeting at Holley Hall on Monday, March 2, 2020, at 7 p.m., where voting on warned articles 1 and 3–21 will take place.
CORNWALL — Cornwall residents are in store for a fairly basic 2020 town meeting, with no contested elections and not a lot of business beyond the usual town, highway and school budget requests.
FERRISBURGH — With no contested races, most of Ferrisburgh residents’ decision-making will be focused on financial matters at town meeting this Saturday morning and in voting booths on Tuesday.
