Bristol Police Log: Swerving driver found not impaired

BRISTOL — On July 11, acting on a report that a vehicle had been “all over the road” on Route 116 North, Bristol police conducted a traffic stop on West Street.
Police determined that the driver of that vehicle was not impaired.
Between July 8 and 14, Bristol police completed eight foot patrols and 85 minutes of car patrols in various parts of town, some of which were part of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program. Officers checked security at Mount Abraham Union High School six times, conducted five business checks, processed at least six requests for fingerprints and facilitated the return of one lost wallet, one loose dog and one lost Master combination lock.
The department also assisted the Bristol Rescue Squad once.
