Vermont State Police Log: Man cited for ramming truck into car
ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police accused a Bristol man with ramming his pickup truck into a truck driven by a Starksboro woman.
On Sept. 1 at around 10 p.m. troopers were called to an incident on States Prison Hollow Road in Starksboro. Police report that Brianna Jennings, 27, of Starksboro was driving home with three others in her vehicle when it was struck by a silver pickup truck. Police allege Ricky Chobot, 31, of Bristol was driving the silver pickup and that he struck the other vehicle intentionally.
After striking her vehicle, Chobot drove away, according to the police report.
When Jennings and her crew got home they found that someone had forced their way through the front door.
Troopers found Chobot at his home, arrested him and cited him for grossly negligent driving and unlawful mischief. He was ordered to answer the charges in Addison County Superior Court, criminal division, on Nov. 5.
