Hip-hop artists bring Food for Thought fundraising tour to Middlebury

Two of Vermont’s prominent Hip Hop artists are embarking on a month long tour around New England to raise money for local food shelves. Jarv (from Windsor) and Mister Burns (from Burlington) will be coming to Two Brothers Tavern in Middlebury on Friday, Nov. 10. The show starts at 10 p.m.
Not only do both artists put on engaging and entertaining sets, but these shows offer a chance for attendants to help raise money for a local food shelf in their town. Plus there will be prizes from the tour’s sponsors including Switchback Brewing Company, Vermont Teddy Bear, PajamaGram and Rail City Hat Company.
Mister Burns has been hard at work on the Vermont Hip Hop scene and beyond since 2009 as part of groups such as The Lynguistic Civilians, Cultural Chemistry and Fresh Patterns.  A multi talented artist Mister Burns is a versatile MC as well as Beat maker, DJ, Booking Agent and more.  You can find more about him and his music at misterburnsvt.com.
Jarv has been making a huge name for himself in the last few years after placing top to in a contest put on by underground New York City legend R.A.
