MIDDLEBURY — The Jackson Gallery will be filled with original, handmade and hand-printed art and fine crafts beginning Nov. 15. This 12th annual holiday exhibition features 25 regional artists whose work represents a wide variety of media and styles. All have been recognized for their individual approaches to design and image.
An opening reception will be held Friday, Nov. 15, from 5-7 p.m.

MIDDLEBURY — Peter K.K. Williams creates paintings in oil that are exceptional in their vivid representation of texture and light. Subjects includes landscapes inspired by Vermont, Lake Champlain and the rainforest of Costa Rica, as well as accurate recreations based upon Paleolithic cave paintings from France. With the eye of a graphic designer, he makes dynamic compositions of wave patterns on the water amplified to contrast with the surrounding rock forms along Lake Champlain. MIDDLEBURY — Meet local author Jeremy Holt for an in-person signing of his latest graphic novel “Before Houdini,” on Friday, Aug. 9, from 5-7 p.m., during the Jackson Gallery’s opening reception of Holt’s exhibit “The Making of a Graphic Novel.”
