The Middlebury Performing Arts Series proudly presents “Same But Different” on April 2 in a free, virtual broadcast. This collaborative dance-theatre duet between Middlebury dance faculty Christal Brown and Lida Winfield explores the two women’s similarities and differences in a cultural commentary on race, age, and gender. Middlebury’s virtual broadcast will premiere on Friday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m., followed by a live Q&A with the artists. The event will remain available online for a week to enjoy. MONICA ELLIS, WHO plays bassoon with the award-winning Imani Winds, is looking forward to connecting with an audience in whatever way she can when her quintet performs as the first act in the all-virtual Middlebury Performing Arts Series on Sept. 25.
