Neat Repeats announces summer grants
MIDDLEBURY — Diane Howlett and Linda Waterman, directors of Neat Repeats Consignment Shop on Bakery Lane in Middlebury, have announced the Neat Repeats grant awards for the summer 2013 cycle. They remind the public that Neat Repeats is a great resource for Halloween costumes and accessories.
A total of $21,049 was awarded, as follows:
Payments of $4,228 in family assistance to 19 recipients; $3,750 to Addison County Housing Solutions for three recipients, $3,300 in educational opportunities to six recipients, $2,000 to Homeward Bound, $2,000 to Elderly Services, $1,200 to the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, $1,193 in dental expenses to three recipients, $470 to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Vergennes, $450 to Otter Creek Child Center, $400 to the MiddSummer lunch and recreation program, $400 in sports opportunities to four recipients, $350 to Russell Memorial Library, $350 to Addison County 4-H Dairy, $300 to the Henry Sheldon Museum, $200 to the Addison County Firefighters Association, $200 to the city of Vergennes, for two recipients, $150 to the Ewe & Me Sheep Peeps 4-H Club, and $108 to the Counseling Service of Addison County for two recipients.
