End of Life Services gets a $75K grant

MIDDLEBURY — The Hoehl Family Foundation has awarded $75,000 to Middlebury’s End of Life Services in support of their mission to provide compassionate care for those at the end of life.

End of Life Services believes that every person should be able to die in comfort and with dignity. In partnership with the community, End of Life Services supports patients, families, friends, and caregivers before, during and after the dying process. End of Life Services advocates for compassionate end-of-life care by providing volunteers, bereavement support, music and other therapeutic practices, education for the community, training for the providers, and options for those who are unable to complete their lives in their own home.

End of Life Services officials expressed their gratitude to the Hoehl Family Foundation for this award and the trust they bestowed upon EOS with this three-year grant to support operations.

The Hoehl Family Foundation is dedicated to helping those most in need, honoring the legacy of the generosity of the Hoehl family over time.  The Hoehl Family Foundation Board is committed to their mission to enhance the lives of Vermonters through the support of nonprofits that help meet Vermonters’ basic human needs, education, and religious beliefs.
