Vermont Folklife Center nabs LGBTQ grant

MIDDLEBURY — Vermont Folklife Center recently received $3,500 from the Vermont Community Foundation’s Samara Fund.
This year the Fund focused it’s grants on supporting the LGBTQ community in Vermont. The Folklife Center will use the grant to support the “Pride 1983!” exhibit, which examines the development and continuation of Pride celebrations in Vermont through interviews, posters, pamphlets and news coverage.
