SALISBURY — Norman Ralph Lizotte, age 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, at Shard Villa in Salisbury.
Norman was born in Georgia, Vt., on Feb. 6, 1938. He was the son of Albert and Viola (Rushford) Lizotte. As a young man he served in the Army National Guard.
From 1967 to 1978, Norman lived with his with wife and two daughters in Pittsford, Vt., and began a working career with Singer Sewing Machines in Rutland. He worked both in sales and repair. At this time he also began a long and passionate career breeding, raising and showing Morgan Horses.

BARRE — John Scott Lynds, 56, passed away at UVM Medical Center on Oct. 24, 2020. He was born in Randolph, son of John and Lillian (Hadley) Lynds of Bridgewater.
John attended the Bridgewater Village School and graduated from Woodstock Union High School. Johnny lived for many years in Chittenden and Addison counties working for Farrell Distributing and Denecker Chevrolet before moving to Barre in 2007. WAITSFIELD — Mariah Leahkim McGill, age 43, was tragically taken from her family in the late morning of Oct. 26, 2020, when she was hit by a car while walking in a crosswalk in Waitsfield Village.

JOHN HENRY RUBLEE
STARKSBORO — John Henry Rublee died on Oct. 28, 2020, at his home at the age of 80.
He was born June 18, 1940, in Starksboro. He was the son of John H. Rublee, Sr. and Irene (Girard) Rublee.
He worked his whole life on farms and more recently doing lawn maintenance. He took pride in his own lawn and flowers.
John is survived by his brother Bruce (Terry) and sister Beverly; three nieces and two nephews; and good friend and neighbor Dan Bromley.

RUTLAND — Elizabeth Forguites passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Forestdale, Vt. She was predeceased by her parents Carl Forguites and Gladys (Cook) Forguites and a sister Barbara (Forguites) Lee. She is survived by a niece, Melinda (Lee) Mackissock of Brandon, Vt., and a nephew, Jeffery Lee of Leicester, Vt. She worked for the A&P grocery store for 37 years before her retirement.

He was born March 15, 1943, to Eunice Strayhus in Brandon. In 1965 he married Geraldine (Vassau) Jackson at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Homer lived in Vermont and raised his family here.
