ORWELL — Roberta (Chamberlin) Atwood, 94, of Orwell, Vt., passed away on March 10, 2020 in Middlebury, Vt. Roberta was born on March 8, 1926, one of eight children of George and Luella Chamberlin of Newbury Vt. She graduated as Valedictorian from Newbury High School and attended Burlington Business College. On July 10, 1948 she married Alden F Atwood of Boltonville Vt. They moved to Crescent Orchards in Orwell, Vt. and raised five children. While at the orchard she made and sold apple butter to gift shops around Vermont. FAIR HAVEN  — Thomas Alan Cousino, 62, of Fair Haven and formerly of Bristol, died March 10, 2020, at his residence. He was born on Aug. 13, 1957, in Middlebury the son of Frank and Barbara (Farr) Cousino. Mr. Cousino grew up in Bristol and lived in Maine for several years prior to coming to Fair Haven in 2018. He was employed by several construction companies in Vermont and New Hampshire. Mr. Cousino enjoyed deer hunting and working on cars. MONKTON — Leland “Terry” Cunningham, 76, died on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at his home in Monkton. He was born Feb. 18, 1944, the son of Robert Cunningham and Ruth McCleneghan Cunningham, in Pasadena, Calif. He and his wife Robin were married June 10, 1967, in Pasadena. Terry was a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Los Angeles Police department. Terry’s career as a police officer offered many stories to his friends and family. She was born April 11, 1945, at Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, Conn., to Alice and Mario Ramos. Marian was a life-long educator in Vermont, receiving her bachelor’s degree from Johnson State College and Master’s in Education from the University of Vermont.
