JOHN HENRY RUBLEE
STARKSBORO — John Henry Rublee died on Oct. 28, 2020, at his home at the age of 80.
He was born June 18, 1940, in Starksboro. He was the son of John H. Rublee, Sr. and Irene (Girard) Rublee.
He worked his whole life on farms and more recently doing lawn maintenance. He took pride in his own lawn and flowers.
John is survived by his brother Bruce (Terry) and sister Beverly; three nieces and two nephews; and good friend and neighbor Dan Bromley.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Richard and a nephew.

RUTLAND — Elizabeth Forguites passed away on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Forestdale, Vt. She was predeceased by her parents Carl Forguites and Gladys (Cook) Forguites and a sister Barbara (Forguites) Lee. She is survived by a niece, Melinda (Lee) Mackissock of Brandon, Vt., and a nephew, Jeffery Lee of Leicester, Vt. She worked for the A&P grocery store for 37 years before her retirement.
HOMER L. JACKSON
RIPTON — Homer L. Jackson of Ripton died peacefully at home surrounded by his family Oct. 24, 2020, at the age of 77.
He was born March 15, 1943, to Eunice Strayhus in Brandon. In 1965 he married Geraldine (Vassau) Jackson at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Homer lived in Vermont and raised his family here. MIDDLESEX — Robin Lee Jones, 60, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, in Ferrisburgh. He was born in Worcester, Mass., on July 18, 1960, the son of Donald and Barbara (Lambert) Jones.
Robin began work as a carpenter at age seventeen and has since built, renovated and repaired homes throughout his community. His deepest passion however, was for racing; first with a successful motocross career in his teens, which later turned to rally cars.

MIDDLEBURY — Geraldine “Gerry” Myrick, 83, of Middlebury, passed away at the Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Oct. 23, 2020, after a long period of declining health. She was courageous and kept her sense of humor to the end.

BRISTOL — Charlotte Elizabeth (Betty) Nelson passed away peacefully on Oct. 21, 2020. Betty was born to Ernest and Olive Raby in Massachusetts on Sept. 15, 1928. She met her future husband, Carl Nelson, while he was stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey. She moved to and married him in his hometown, Bristol, Vt.
