VERGENNES — Leon A. Aubin, 84, of Vergennes, Vt., passed away on Oct. 25, 2019. He was born July 2, 1935 to Richard Joseph Aubin and Itha Aubin of North Hero, Vt.
He was a communicant of St. Peter Catholic Church in Vergennes and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He graduated from Alburgh, Vt., High School in 1953 and from the State School of Agriculture in Randolph Center in 1954.

CORNWALL — Joan A. Audet, 87, died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26, 2019, surrounded by her family at Helen Porter Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.
She was born Jan. 14, 1932, in Addison, the daughter of Alexis and Elizabeth (Boivin) Dubois. She attended Presentation of Mary High School in Granby, Quebec and graduated in 1950.
On March 26, 1951, she married Henry Audet of Shoreham, Vt. They purchased a neighboring farm in Cornwall in 1953, where they raised their family.

CORNWALL — Marvella G. Avery, 61, died in the early morning of Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at her residence in Cornwall surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born May 7, 1958, in Lancaster, Pa., the daughter of Robert Bushong Graybill and Marvella Goddard (Rich) Graybill.

NEW HAVEN — Arlene Ethel (Fleming) Brown, 80, of New Haven, was called home unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at UVM Medical Center in Burlington.
Arlene was born May 13, 1939, at home in “Little Ireland” Starksboro, Vt., to Clarence Lee Fleming and Alice Alma Hill Fleming. She graduated from Middlebury High School in 1957.
After graduating from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College in 1985 she became an L.P.N. She was very proud of being a nurse and worked at various locations in New Hampshire and Vermont, including Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury.

RIPTON — Lynn Marie Coeby 64, passed away Friday evening Oct. 25, 2019, at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, losing her valiant battle with depression.
She was born Aug. 16, 1955, in New Brunswick, N.J., the daughter of Robert Alexander Coeby and Eleanor (Stopinski) Coeby
Lynn received her Bachelor’s of Science from Rutgers University and received her M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio.

FERRISBURGH — Michael “Mike” P. Jerry Sr., 64, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at Helen Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury. Mike was born Feb. 28, 1955 in Northfield, Vt., where he was raised until 1965 when the family moved to Ferrisburgh, Vt. He graduated from Vergennes Union High School in 1973.
In the prime of his life Mike was always busy. He spent a lot of time helping friends, being a firefighter for the Ferrisburgh Fire Department, serving the National Guard stationed in Vergennes, playing sports like softball and horseshoes, and being on stock car racer Jamie Aubie’s pit crew....

LEICESTER — William (Bill) Joseph Larocque of Leicester, Vt., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at the age of 82.
Bill was born on Dec. 7, 1936, in Salisbury, Vt., shortly after his parents Eugene Joseph Larocque and Laura Marie (Longtin) Larocque emigrated from their native community of St. Isidore de Prescott, Canada, joining family already in the area.
He proudly served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Fulton during the Korean era and was a loyal member of the local chapter of the American Legion throughout his life.
