Raise your hand

BETWEEN 130 AND 150 teachers and their supporters held signs and waved at passing cars on Court Street in Middlebury Tuesday afternoon to draw attention to their effort to get the Legislature to fully fund their pension fund. The protesters spread out along both sides of the street near the entrance to Middlebury Union High School after school let out for the day. The sentiment of the protest was that teachers have done their part, now the state must do its part.
