ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Big Hollow Road in Starksboro on Sept. 8 at around four minutes before 9 p.m. The car failed to stop and the trooper pursued it.
The chase came to an abrupt end when the driver of the car failed to make a left turn onto Hollow Road, the vehicle then left the road and it came to a position of rest down a slight embankment.

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police accused a Bristol man with ramming his pickup truck into a truck driven by a Starksboro woman.
On Sept. 1 at around 10 p.m. troopers were called to an incident on States Prison Hollow Road in Starksboro. Police report that Brianna Jennings, 27, of Starksboro was driving home with three others in her vehicle when it was struck by a silver pickup truck. Police allege Ricky Chobot, 31, of Bristol was driving the silver pickup and that he struck the other vehicle intentionally.

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police are looking for the 19-year-old Whiting man to help them figure out how someone ended up in his truck leading them on a 100-mile-per-hour chase through Whiting and Cornwall after midnight on Saturday.
On Aug. 29 at 12:31 a.m. a trooper saw a 2003 Ford truck race by on Route 30 in Whiting, headed north at a high rate of speed. The officer clocked the truck at 86 mph in a posted 50 mph zone, activated his blue lights and took off after the vehicle.

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police were called to Leicester-Whiting Road in Leicester twice on recent occasions and both times cited the same man for serious crimes.
On July 27 at a little after 5 p.m. state police received a report of a vehicle stolen from a Leicester Whiting Road home. Troopers identified the suspect as Christopher Bridgmon, 34, of Leicester.

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police responded to an assault in Monkton that was reported at 12:55 a.m. on July 19.
Troopers investigated and determined that Christopher M. Allen, 39, of St. Albans had assaulted a household member. It was also determined that Allen had prevented access to emergency services for the victim, destroyed their cell phone, made several threats to endanger their life, and was wanted on two arrest warrants.

ADDISON COUNTY — On July 6 at approximately 9:25 p.m. Vermont State Police attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Route 116 North in Bristol. The vehicle failed to yield and continued at a high rate of speed north on the highway, police reported.
With troopers in pursuit, the vehicle turned onto LaRose Lane in Bristol. The vehicle pulled into a driveway and the driver and a passenger fled on foot.
Troopers later located both individuals hiding in a nearby wooded area and identified them as Patrick Johnson, 30, of Alburg and Trisha Delibac, 21, of Winooski.

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police stopped a motor vehicle on Route 22A in Shoreham at around 10:30 p.m. on July 4. Troopers report that while talking with the driver, identified as 29-year-old Trey Hood of Crown Point, N.Y., they detected indicators of impairment. They also noted that two juveniles were in the car when Hood was driving.
So officers screened Hood for drinking and driving and ended up citing him for driving under the influence, as well as for two counts of cruelty to a child.
Hood is due to answer the charges in Addison Superior Court, criminal division, on Sept. 21.
ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police responded to a one-car rollover crash off Route 7 at Church Hill Road in Charlotte at around 6:45 p.m. this past Monday, June 29.
Troopers said that when they got to the crash they talked to the driver, identified as 48-year-old Todd Hotaling of Bristol, and they noted several signs of impairment. Hotaling was transported to UVM Medical Center for medical evaluation.

ADDISON COUNTY — On June 12 Vermont State police were called to a disturbance on Bisbee Road in Ferrisburgh at around 7:35 p.m.
Troopers investigated and determined that Pamela Blair, 64, of Ferrisburgh had engaged in tumultuous, threatening behavior causing public annoyance. They said Blair also had threatened another Ferrisburgh woman and had been stalking both her and her family members.
Police cited Blair into Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, to answer to the charges of stalking, disorderly conduct and criminal threatening.
