Brittany and Ryan’s lives have been aligned almost their whole lives. Their initial meeting would date back to Evergreen preschool in Vergennes. They then reconnected at Vergennes Union High for middle and high school. Brittany went off to Castleton University and Ryan went to Vermont Technical College. Their lives probably crossed hundreds of times, but it wasn’t until their second year of college that the two recognized the extra-special nature of their friendship.
After college, the pair settled into their first shared home in Ferrisburgh, and brought three dogs into their home: Scout,...

Lilian and Brian’s story is one of patience, faith and hope. They met at Two Brother’s Tavern back in 2014, where Brian was working at the time. Seemingly innocently, Brian was fixing his tie one night when Lilian asked if he would teach her how to tie a tie. The rest was history.
A little less than a year later, the couple welcomed a baby boy.
Fast forward two years to January 2017 on the night the Patriots beat the Pittsburg Steelers in an AFC Championship game. As Patriots fans, the night was already looking pretty great, but to top it off, Brian proposed.
The couple decided not to rush...

When Vickey and Rachel first met back in 2009, neither had dated another female before. They were introduced through mutual friends and initially just really enjoyed talking and spending time together. Soon enough, though, it was clear there was something more.
However, even after they started dating (in January of 2010), they tried to hide their relationship from everyone around them. In time, some of the people closest to them started questioning them and the curtain finally was drawn.
“We were scared and nervous about the reactions we would get, but in turn received nothing but love. No...
Courtney and George had been dating for eight years and were out to celebrate at Fire & Ice for dinner.
They ordered drinks and exchanged cards. In no particular rush, Courtney pushed hers aside to first examine the menu, but George insisted she open it right away.
“So I did, and the next thing I knew he was on his knee with a box open!” Courtney recalled. “I was so shocked that he had to ask me again! I laughed, sat there for a minute, and realized I needed to answer him.”
She said yes, and the couple went on to plan an intimate and meaningful ceremony that took place August 10, 2019 on...

Though neither had high hopes for the platform, Brad and Alicia had initially met online. They started off tentatively, just talking for well over a month before they finally agreed to meet in person. But then their relationship blossomed and they slowly started thanking the clever the algorithms that initially brought them together!
On a chilly December day in 2018, Brad asked Alicia if she wanted to go for a hike up to Silver Lake. Always game for a hike, Alicia excitedly agreed. On the way up Brad was a little quiet, but Alicia says she didn’t think too much of it at the time.
At the top,...

One might think Ashlie and Ethan’s wedding story was stolen right out of a fairy tale written about Addison County. The couple started out as high school sweethearts at MUHS in 2013. They stayed locally and now live together on a farm in Addison.
On a Saturday afternoon in early October 2017, Ashlie arrived home from work and Ethan said he had a surprise for her. She climbed onto the back of his four-wheeler and he blindfolded her. They drove a short distance to the far side of their barn and Ethan helped Ashlie dismount, still blindfolded. He told her to wait until the cue and at that moment...
ANNIE MURAWSKI AND OTTO MAGDANZ tied the knot at Basin Harbor in Ferrisburgh this past July.

Annie and Otto share a passion for traveling and find any window to explore the world that they can.
In November 2018, they were in Colombia for a hiking trip in one of the country’s national parks. The pair had been together for several years and had openly talked about getting married, but still Otto managed to surprise Annie when he popped the question in this remote setting. He somehow had managed to hike the ring in their shared backpack for four days without her noticing!
Despite the thousands of beautiful places they had visited in the world, Annie and Otto easily committed to a...
CHELSEA AND GABRIEL Hatch were married at home in North Haverhill, New Hampshire. Chelsea is a Salisbury native.

Chelsea is a native of Salisbury, but now lives just over the eastern border, in North Haverhill, New Hampshire.
It was there that she met Gabriel. After being initially introduced online, the couple’s first date was at the Walmart in Lebanon. It must have seemed like a neutral, safe place to test the waters. Turns out they were meant for each other and quickly built a life together.
Fast forward to August 7, 2018 during a country music concert where Chelsea’s favorite singer, Kane Brown, was opening for Brad Paisley. The couple arrived together at the show, but covertly Gabe ducked into a...
