City food drive

MEMBERS OF THE Vergennes Lions & Vergennes Rotary clubs were seen recently working together to collect food for the Vergennes Food Shelf. The three-day food drive brought in 63 turkeys, numerous bags of food, and more than $750 in cash contributions. Congratulations to both clubs for their efforts to support the local food shelf. Club members passed on a special thanks to Lion Deb Brace for coordinating the event.
